Firefox 15 Adds a JavaScript Debugger, Tools for Testing Mobile Sites

Firefox 15 is out and it's looking like a solid release all around. There are some new features, SPDY v3 support for one, significantly improved WebGL performance, a new native UI for tablets and so on. Developers have plenty to like as well. Mozilla has been working on building a nice set of tools for developers into Firefox.

The latest additions are a JavaScript debugger which, well, will help with debugging JavaScript. It's been lacking in Firefox and it's a must-have for any set of developer tools. As an added bonus, the debugger works with the Android Firefox as well so devs can test their code remotely.

The Layout View comes in handy for designers, it simply lists the dimensions of any selected HTML element, width, height, borders, margins, everything.

Devs working on mobile sites may appreciate the "responsive design" view which enables them to create windows of custom sizes to test for different devices and screens.
