Some of the latest rumors around the web suggested that Taiwanese phone maker HTC might be set to launch an Android-based device boasting a 5-inch display, yet nothing has been officially confirmed on the matter for the time being.
However, enthusiasts continue to dream of said device, and some even came up with their own visions of what that smartphone might be looking like.
The quad-core Tegra 3 processor packed inside this phone is said to be clocked at 1.8GHz, which should deliver an important performance boost when compared to the current generation of Tegra 3-based handsets.
The handset also sports 2GB of RAM, along with a 2800 mAh non removable battery, as well as an anodized aluminum and polycarbonate case for more appealing looks.
The phone’s screen is edge to edge, which gives it a different feel that current devices. Additionally, there is an 8-megapixel photo snapper placed on the back of the device, most probably featuring the latest technology currently available in the field.

Overall, the handset looks highly appealing, as can be seen both in the photos attached to this article, as well as in the video embedded at the bottom.
Provided that HTC is indeed set to bring the 5-inch phablet to the market, we could expect it to look similar to this HTC One Z concept phone. For the t ime being, however, we can only dream about it.
