Motorola MASTER is a new budget-friendly Android smartphone that has been recently launched in South America. For the time being, the device is only available in Chile, but additional countries might get the Motorola MASTER in the following weeks.
The phone offers a cheap solution to business users who cannot afford to purchase a top tier smartphone. In this regard, Motorola MASTER comes with a full QWERTY keyboard, as well as a decent capacitive touchscreen display.
The phone is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and provides access to various Google Mobile services, such as Google+, Google Maps, Google Talk, Google Search, Gmail and YouTube. In addition, users will also be offered access to more than 600,000 apps and game via Google Play.
“This phone, just like all that we offer today, has incorporated our differentiator Prip. It is a high range terminal with a great processor and pointing to people and companies that need to be always connected, ideal for executives who need to work on remote permanently,” said Fabio Toledo, marketing vice president for Nextel Chile.
Motorola MASTER comes with a dedicated “Push to Talk” button which uses Nextel Direct C onnect service, allowing for instant communication.
On the back, the Android smartphone sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper with 4x digital zoom, LED flash and HD (720p) video recording. GPS support is available as well, along with FM Radio.
“Motorola MASTER brings the security and support features that IT must have, on a device that employees will clamor for. Now, you can efficiently type, text, browse and talk on a phone that’s as beautiful as it is smart,” added Adolfo Rizzato, commercial manager, Motorola Mobility Argentina and Chile.
